Dear Mr. Dunn, 
 
I am sincerely honored to have been selected as the recipient of the: Linda Dunn Foundation Scholarship. I am writing to convey how deeply grateful I am to have been selected for this thoughtful and generous scholarship. 
 
I am finishing my third out of four semesters in the Dental Hygiene program at FSW. I hope to one day work at a great dental office, in particular, an office specializing in aesthetic dentistry. Once I graduate I will continue my pursuit of obtaining my master’s in Dental Hygiene. 
 
I am currently a full-time student. I also volunteer on Saturdays at my local church as an instructor for the local Pathfinder Club. My job as an instructor is centered on the spiritual-mental-physical education for boys and girls ages 10 and up. We develop activities to meet the needs and interests of young adolescents.  
 
Your scholarship has opened a door and the prospect of a brighter future. It will play a key role in allowing me to graduate as a licensed Dental Hygienist. Donors like you make life brighter for us. I promise to work towards continuing Linda’s beautiful legacy of bringing compassion, kindness, thoughtfulness, and genuine interest to the well being of patients. I can only hope that one day, I too will be in a position to bring a smile to another deserving student.
